After years of collaborating with Run Ottawa, we had the honour of working with them to shape the look and feel of the 2024 Ottawa Race Weekend. This monumental event marked a half-century of running excellence, so we worked to make the 50th anniversary a true celebration for the 47,000+ participants. We drew inspiration from past races and retro athleticism to create a design that resonated with seasoned runners and newcomers alike. The response was overwhelmingly positive, leading to unprecedented sign up rates ahead of the race weekend. But we weren’t mere spectators. The Character Creative team laced up our shoes and ran for a cause, raising thousands for the Ottawa Heart and Stroke Foundation.
